OCR Text	Show ARBOR DAY' HAS BEEN WELL OBSERVED Clean-up Day has merged info Arbor Ar-bor Day with a change so gradual that it was difficult to distinguish. Some did plar.f'ng on Tuesday in addition ad-dition to cleaning and the good work has continued on Wednesday and Thursday in cleaning while otheis are planting.' The business men of the city closed their places of business and took part in the good work of the day. At night the city was a cloud of smoke from East to West and lrom North to S nUh all arising from the fires which had been made to consume con-sume the rubbish which had been gathered up on the streets and yards. At present the city has on a cleanly clean-ly appearance which is a credit to the citizens who wer so energetic in responding to the proclamation given for the day.
