Show COURT PROCEEDINGS The second term of the District Court convened at Manti, Monday, May 10th, 1915, at 10 o'clock a. m. The day was taken up setting cases for trial, besides disposing of a number num-ber of Probate cases that were on the calendar. In the case of the State of Utah vs. Boon Monson, Angus Rosenburg, Ed Lundberg and Lawerence Madsen, were arraigned before the Court upon up-on a charge of Burglary in the second degree, and each of said defendants entered a Plea of not guilty, the case was thereupon continued until the next regular term of the district court, upon the application of the counsel for the said defendants. Henry Ericksen charged with unlawful un-lawful sale of intoxicating liquor by the City of Mt. Pleasant, took an appeal ap-peal to the district court, where he entered a plea of not guilty to the charge, and the case has been set for trial Monday, May 17th, 1915, at 3 o'clock, p. m. In the case of the State of Utah vs. George Carter who is charged with deserting his wife and minor child, failed to appear before the court, and the clerk was thereupon ordered to issue a Bench Warrant for his arrest ar-rest and to be placed in the hands of the Sheriff for service. In the case of the State of Utah vs. Aubrey Roberts, who is charged with the desertion of his wile and minor child, was ordered dismissed. A Civil Jury has been demanded to hear the case of the Ephraim Milling Mill-ing & Elevator Company, vs. Hie Cily of Ephraim, and also the case of L. Ludvlgson vs. the Southern Utah Power Company. Court has adjourned until Monday, May 17th, 1915, at 10 o'clock. No marriage Licenses have been Issued during the week by (he County Coun-ty Clerk. |
