Show (t Fountain Green V Born to Mr.and Mrs. Neils Lund, March 15th, a boy. Warren Allred returned to Provo Monday. Mrs. Will Ostler is visiting with her sister, Mrs. Will Cbllard. Nephi Anderson of Provo is in Fountain Green thi week on business. busi-ness. Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Guymon have moved out on the farm gf J. T. Old-royd Old-royd to work during the summer. The baby of Mr. and "Mrs. P. C. Allred, who has been quite ill is reported re-ported to be much better at present. Mrs. E. M. and Katie Anderson accompanied ac-companied Emma Anderson to Salt Lake City last Monday. Next Friday night the Parents Class who have their "Social Circle" each week, will have a night of a-musement. a-musement. They will play games and a good time is expected. Miss Emma Anderson left Monday for her mission to the Northern States. A large crowd wis at the depot to bid her good-byo and to wish her well for her succe.-.s- Sunday night the Elders and Seventies Sev-enties gave an excellent program in the Meeting House for Miss Anderson's Ander-son's benefit. The large number present were free in their donations. I On Tuesday March 17th the' Relief Re-lief Society celebrated their anniversary anniver-sary and had an excellent program. In the evening they had a dance which was a great success. j Last Monday evening a party was given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Guymon. Refreshments were served and games played and a very enjoyable time was had by all. ! Last Saturday Emma, the 6 year old girl of Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Madsen 'was taken to Mt. Pleasant to the Hospital to be operated on for appendicitis. ap-pendicitis. It is reported that she lis getting along nicely. ; Last Thursday evening Mrs. A. H. Allred entertaineed the Primary officers offi-cers with their husbands and a very enjoyable time was spent. Refresh-, ments were served and interesting 'games made merry the evening. j Last Friday night "Ever Youth" was played to a large a'.uii !iue, un-, un-, der the direction of the Mutuals for the. benefit of the departing missionary. mis-sionary. A program was aluo rendered rend-ered which was a first class entertainment enter-tainment and everyone felt highly repaid for attending it. Peter Anderson and wife, who have been here for a few days returned re-turned to Provo this week. They have spent the winter there as their children have been 'attending school. They came home on account of the illness of her father, J. J. Anderson, who has been ill for some time. Cora Madsen went to Salt Lake City Monday to purchase hats for spring wear. As all indications are that summer will soon be here, some have already .got the spring fever which is a sure sign that spring is here. The weather is ideal and has been for some time, which was unexpected by everybody in the neighborhood. Hannah Cloward returned re-turned Monday from Mona, where she has been visiting with her family. |
