Show DEATH CALL5 PIONEER Again death has claimed one of our old pioneers, Caroline J. Anderson Ander-son who died here on Saturday May 18th. She was born in Denmark, Sept. 2 nd. 1821 and would have been ninety two years old next September. She has lived during the last fourteen years, since the death of her husband, hus-band, with her son. R. Anderson. She immigrated to Utah in the fall of 54 and after nearly one years journey landed in Utah in 55. She lived in Sugar House Ward, Salt Lake City a couple of years, then moved from there to Ephraim, Sanpete San-pete County and in 59 she moved to Mt. Pleasant. In 64 she moved to Richfield but returned to Mt. Pleas-and Pleas-and in 66 where she has lived ever since. She' had eleven ehildreh only two of whom survive her. They are Mrs. Chas. Schrader of Grand Junction, Jun-ction, Colorado and R. Anderson of Mt. Pleasant; A large croud of her friends attended the services at the Methodist church on Monday. Rev. E. E. Mork of Salt Lake being in charge. The speakers were: Simon T Beck of Spring City, Pres. C. N. Lund and Rev. Mork. The floral offerings were beautiful. |
