The banquet, although arranged for entirely within a period of twenty-four hours, w as a most creditable affair. A sumptuous dinner was served serv-ed to about ;S0 people. Following the banquet the military ceremony known as Guard Mount was given by the Troop and the First Cavalry band. It was an open air exercise, splendidly given and wit-nesf wit-nesf e d w it h interest by a vast number of people. The dav was finished by a dance for the soldier boys at the Armory which was attended by a crowd which packed the large hall to Ub capacity capa-city Notwithstanding the feeling of sorrow and regret felt by all because of the seriousness of the occasion it was a most enjoyable affair. The proceeds of the dance will be donated to the Troop.
