Show NOTICE TO WATER USBJtS State Engineer's Office, Salt Lake City, Utah, March 14, 1916. , Notice is hereby given that Freeman Free-man E. Allred, whose post office address ad-dress is Spring City, Utah, has made application in accordance with the requirements re-quirements of the Compiled Laws of Utah, 1907, as amended by the Session Ses-sion Laws of Utah, 1909, 1911. and 1915, to appropriate twelve (12) cubic-feet of water per second from Oak Creek, Cedar Creek, and Twin Creek, Sanpete County, Utah. Four (4) cubic-feet of water per second will be diverted from each si ream. The water from Oak Creek will be diverted di-verted at a point which bears south 32 degrees west 770 feet from the southeast corner of Section 35, Township Town-ship 15 south, Range 4 east. Salt Lake base and meridian; from Cedar Ce-dar Creek, south 63 degrees 46 minutes min-utes east 2091 feet from the northwest north-west corner of the southwest quarter of Section 30, Township 15 south, Range 5 east; from Twin Creek, south 34 degrees 52 minutes east 2654.5 feet from the northwest corner cor-ner of Section 29, Township 15 south, Range 5 east. The water will be conveyed con-veyed by means of three ditches for a distance of 4290 feet, 10,560 feet, and 6840 feet, respectively, and commingled com-mingled at a point which lies 657.36 feet east and 844.8 feet south from the northwest corner of the- northeast north-east quarter of Section 35, Township 15 soiuth, Range 4 east, where it will be used from May 1 to August 31, inclusive, of each year, to irrigate 264 5 acres of land embraced in Section Sec-tion 36, Township 15 south, Range 3 east; Sections 9, 10, 15, 16, 20, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 32, 33, 34, 35, Township 15 south, Range 4 east; Sections 1, 2, 10 and 11, Township 16 south, Range 3 east; Section 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8, Township 16 south, Range 4 east, Salt Lake base and meridian. In addition the said applicant ap-plicant intends to store Ave thousand thou-sand (5000) acre-feet of water from the said streams from September 1, of each year, to April 30, inclusive, of the year following, in a reservoir embraced in Sections 26, 35 and 36, Township 15 south, Range 4 east. The center of the impounding dam will be located at a point 657.36 feet east and 844.8 feet south from the northwest corner of the northeast quarter of said Section 35, at which point part of the water will be released re-leased and part will be' released at a point 657.36 feet east and 1405.08 feet south from the northwest corner cor-ner of the northeast quarter of said Section 35, and used in connection with the twelve (12) oubic-feet per second, for the irrigation of the land above described. This application is designated in the State Engineer's office as No. 6540. All protests against the granting of said application, stating the reasons rea-sons therefor, must be made by affidavit affi-davit in duplicate, accompanied by a fee of $2.50, and filed in this office within thirty (30) days after the completion of the publication of this notice.
