Show SOCIAL EVENTS Miss Beulah Anderson entertained enter-tained Thursday afternoon at a dinner party given in honor of her school friends. The guests were Euhy and Clifford Graham, Gra-ham, Loren and Alclen Peterson, Peter-son, Elva Sorensc-n, Velora All-red, All-red, Maud Christensen, Elva Madsen, Georgia Christensen, Harold Christensen, and Harold Har-old and Evan Cox. A very happy surprise party was tendered E. W. Wall, cashier cash-ier of the Mount Pleasant Commercial Com-mercial & Savings Bank, last Friday in honor of his 41st birthday. There were about twenty guests who came to en joy the evening with Mr. and Mrs. "Wall. A beautiful umbrel la holder was given to Mr "Wall by his many friends. A i fine luncheon was served by the hostess. Mrs. J. W. Anderson was hostess at a very fine 6 o'clock dinner party last Tuesday evening ev-ening given in honor of Miss Clay Alfred of Richfield who is visiting at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Ii. A. Burch this week. The guests present were Dr. and Mrs. R. A. Burch, Miss Val Larsen, Miss Dora Larsen, Miss Myrtle Larsen, Fern Larsen and the guest of honor. The Alumni Association of the North Sanpete High School held their Annual Banquet Wednesday May 26th at 8 o'clockp .'m. A very delicious five course dinner was served during which the guests were entertained by most excellent musiical selections and an address ad-dress by State Superintendent E. G. Gowans. After the Banquet Ban-quet the Alumni held their annul an-nul business meeting in the assembly as-sembly room of the school. There were fourteen of the Wasatch Seniors who took an outing yesterday afternoon and went east of the city and enjoyed an outdoor dinner party. par-ty. The ones participating in t'he affair Avere Florence Clemens, Clem-ens, Spencer Webb, Olga Thompson, William Tebbs, William Crane Gertrude Wool- fenden, Pose Anderson, Nora Jensen, Veneta Meyrick, Dru-cella Dru-cella Meyrick, Laura Evans and Patt Barret. In order to make the day a complete success suc-cess in the eyes of the young students it was decided to go serenading in the evening and ! the young people made use of j their vocal training. |
