Mrs. Formau Brady and children came down from Idaho this week. Mrs. Ira White entertained last Tuesday in honor of her birthday. Supper was served to fifteen puests. A surprise party was tendered Mr. and Mrs. James C. Allred last week by n number of their relatives. An excellent supper was served. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Nielson of Tooele visited here the past week with Mr. Niolson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Niels Nielson. Mrs. Harry Sut'on, focmerly Mis? Mamie Graham, is a guest at the home of Mrs. Elnora Jenkins and ex-oecis ex-oecis to spend the summer here. Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo Peterson and son Leland returned this week from Lucerne valley w here they have spent the past month visiting with Mrs. C. A. Terry. Jr. James C. Allred and family loft Wednesday for the Reservation where they go expecting to make their home. The regular Relief Society Meetings Meet-ings are changed from Mondays to Tuesdays, in consequence of this the "lectric day service is changed to Mondays and Wednesday. The outing of the Relief Society was a success. They went to the mouth of the canyon to the old farm of Jess Clement and Hem a meeting on the lawn under the pine trees, nfter which they played games and enjoved refreshments. Three of our boys left with tiio militia last Monday; they wore Francis Fran-cis Rigby, Ray Tanner and Clarence Mower. The last named enlisted after af-ter the Governor's call. A sad accident oecured here Wednesday Wed-nesday when Gerald, the 16-year-o'd -on ot rs.. li. rritcnett was nrownpn. He went up the irrigation ditch about two blocks north of his home to turn 'he water. Being absent a long time his older hroiher went in search of him. He found his body in the ditch near Hyrum Hansen's place. The shovel and one shoe was found about a block up the ditch from the body. As no one saw the accident details are meagre. It is supposed that he sat down to rest and was over come J)y the heat and fainted and fell into the ditch and was drowned. His parents were away at Provo where they had gone the first of the week to visit with their daughter, Mrs. Epperson. Ep-person. Last Wednesday evening Mrs. E. O. Poulson, Mrs. Ray Brady; Mrs. Stella Hamilton, Mrs. Ella Allred and the Misses Mae Madsen and Ethel Stewart Stew-art rode to the home of Mrs. Ross Stewart at Milburn, where they were entertained at dinner.
