Show WALES Mr. and Mrs. Soron Jaeobsen and Mr. and Mrs. David Reese motored to Pairv'ew Sunday. Miss Myrtle Reese spent Sunday at Ephraim. Nancy Lamh returned home Saturday Sat-urday from Gunnison where she visited vis-ited the past week with relatives. Harrii't Thomas is a Salt Lake City vi-s'tor this week. Ye late Lamb is visiting her sister .u No phi. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nielson aud Mrs. E. Nich-on of Manti are visiting at the home of Erastus Anderson. Gerald Kasiar of Nephi was a Wales visitor this week. Miss Sarah Dye was a Moroni visitor visi-tor Saturday and Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Yickers of Nephi motored to Wales Sunday and were euests at the home of Bishop and Mrs. Davis. Lavan Davis returned 'o Nephi with them. A very pleasant affair of the previous pre-vious week was a children's party giv-n giv-n by Mrs. Loa Taylor in honor of ht-r son Ronald's rixth birthday. Games and dancing were indulged in ifter which Mrs. Taylor served re-"reshments re-"reshments on the lawn. A pleasant affair of the week was a party given by the Relief Society Sisters Sis-ters t the lioin of Ben Davis in honor hon-or of Jamima Davis, better known as "Grandma Davis." The afternoon was spent in music and social chat. Afterwards dainty refreshments were served. Later the sisters went to the home of Bishop Davis to finish up the day's enjoyment. The program pro-gram was as follows, musical selection selec-tion from "La Traviata" and "II Trovatore" by Mrs. T. D. Reese. Sr.; Comic reading. Mrs. J. D. Reese; Song. Mrs. Leo Washburn, accompanied accompan-ied by Mrs. T. D. Reese. Cake and 'much were served to those present. Mrs. T. J. Reese presided at the punch bowl. Two ball -games at the Wales park Erklav: Wales first team vs. Fountain Foun-tain Green and Wales second team vs. Sprinc City. Mr. and Mrs. J. K. Midgley enter-tat-ied for T. J. Midgley and wife of Salt Lake Citv. Ice cream and cake .vei e served. Those present were. Bishop Davis and wife, Mr. and Mrs. H R Thomas, Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Lamb Mr. and Mrs. Eph Anderson Mr a :'il Mrs. Le Roy Lewis. Mr. and Mrs. E. Christensen. Mrs. Taylor and Mrs T J. Reese. M'o.'Loa Taylor was hostess at a child'-p-i's party in honor of her little son Ronald's sixth birthday. Mrs. F. R. Lamb was hostess at a birthdav dinner Friday. Sifters of the Relief Society spent the afternoon of their regular meeting meet-ing with Grandma Davis who is not able to attend meetings on account ot illness. She is S6 years of age. The ,M-ie was spent in social chat and music, after which refreshments were served. |
