The girls of the High Schcol hae under consideration just now, a very important question, that of the adoption of a uniform dress for all the girl students. The step, if taken will be in line with a movement which is sweeping the entire country. Several High Schools cf ihe lar.er cities of our state have already in- j itiated such a plan, and the agitation agita-tion is a growing one. To an observer, the need for such a movement is apparent. In many cases, the conditions of dress among high school girlsare not satisfactory, from the standpoints of hygiene, modestry and general good taste. Then too. difference in dress cannot 'iclp but establish class distinction in in a school whose aim should be the cultivation of the spirit of demo-.iracy.-', fa 'Ji--Jpr?- trc."" A neat simple ress of blue serge is advocated, as jeing well suited to everyday usage, vhile conforming to standards of .omfort and good taste. Much interest and enthusiasm are ihown by the girls, who seem to ealize that preferences of the in dividual at times can well tie subordinated sub-ordinated to the good of all. A mistake was made last week in announcing that the fee for the Domestic Science course was ten dollars. A big foot bull gaire at the Citv Park, between the teams of the Wa-atch Academy and the N. IS. II. S. at 3:1") p. m, Friday Oct. 21. This will be the only game in which the Norih Sanpete participates ihi year. Rivalry between these teams has always been Keen and this game promises to prove no exception to ihe rule.
