Theadore Madsen, son of Christian T. Madsen, celebrated his 9th birthday birth-day at his home Oct. 12. There were fourteen invited guests who enjoyed the pleasures of the hour and the dainty refreshments served. Friends of Mr. and Mr. Wilford Rasmussen tendered them a very pleasant surprise party last Sunday evening at their home in this city, The party was given in repect of their esteemed friendship - prior to their departure from the city. Mr. and Mrs. Rasmussen are going to make their home at Birch Creek. There was a large number seated at the dinner prepared for the occasion oc-casion by their friends. The evening even-ing was pleasantly spent in a social way.
