Show mi The auto accident experienced experi-enced by a number of joy riders Sunday evening the 21st between Mount Pleasant and Spring City in -which the crowd was thrown to the ground and one of the girls sustained a badly bruised and disfigured face, sounds a note of warning both to parents and to drivers of automobiles and other vehicles, ve-hicles, of the terrible consequences conse-quences that may follow a little inattention or lack of caution upon their part. It is especially especial-ly incumbent upon persons handling automobiles to exert the utmost care. Some of these appear to be a little reckless reck-less however, and others are new at the manipulation of the machines. The streets are frequently populated by little children, and it is so easy to effect ef-fect an accident that will depress de-press one for the remainder of his life, and rend the hearts of fond parents. Flagrant disregard dis-regard of speeding should be abandoned, and parents should do their utmost to guard their children and keep them out of harm's way. If care is maintained main-tained on both sides, there is no need for disaster. j MI |
