Show Special Programs Given The program given at the. North Ward Chapel Sunday evening by Mrs. Georgia Johnson, Miss Mabel Borg aid Kenneth Borg was an unusually entertaining affair and was listened o with marked interest by the splendid splen-did audience present. Every selec-ion selec-ion was given in an artistic, finished nanner, each one of the young folks showing decided talent and thorough cultivation and training in her or his particular line. The program vas as follows: Piano Solo, "Sonata" - Bethoven Miss Mabel Borg Reading, "Dora" - Alfred Tennyson Mrs. Georgia Johnson Fhite Solo (a) "Berceuse from Joce-lyu Joce-lyu - Goddard (b) "Romance" - Tersehak Kenneth Borg leading, "Revolt of Mother" May E. Wilkins Mrs. Georgia Johnson ,'Tute Solo, (a) Melody in F - Rubenstein (b) Concert Waltz - Wilhelm Popp. Very interesting services were conducted con-ducted at the Presbyterian Church Sunday evening during the absence of Rev. John Meeker. The services were conducted by Mrs. John Meeker. Mrs. O. F. Wall gave an essay on "Christian Citizenship." A special Anthem was rendered by the choir and a girls chorus "The Lord Is My Shepherd" was beautifully rendered. A vocal solo, "Behold The Master Tasseth By" was rendered in a very creditable manner by Miss Frances Jensen. |
