Show ' Moroni j Mrs. Ruff Succumbs To Tuoerculosis Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Ruff, wife of Wilford Ruff, died Sunday at Salt Lake City of Tuberculosis after two years of ccntant suffering. Since July she has been at Salt Lake in hopes of recovring by means of expert ex-pert medical treatment. Every at-tetion at-tetion and possible help were given her, but the disease had developed too far to be checked. On Tuesday the 23rd Mr. Ruff went from Schofield where he is employed em-ployed and her father, Thos. Black-ham, Black-ham, left Moroni with her two children child-ren to Bpend Christmas with her and her sister, Miss Hettie Biackham. On Christmas Day Mrs. Ruff became much worse than usual, having three hemorrhages. Her brother, T. W.-Blackham, W.-Blackham, went to see her the next day. She gradually became weaker and the end came at three o'clock Sunday morning. She was brought to Moroni for burial on Monday. Miss Hettie Black ham of Salt Lake, Mr. Ruff's father, Bp. George Ruff of Schofield, his sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Joseph Jones of Coalville, and his brothers George of Coalville and John of Salt Sake came to the funeral. Impressive services were held at the Relief Society Hall Tuesday at 2 p. m. Bp. Orlando Bradley presid ing. The choir sangJ'Though Deep ening Trials Throng Your Way," "Oh, Death, Where Is Thy Victory." and "Farewell All Earthly Honors." The speakers were Elders Erastus Curtis and Nathan Faux and Bishops Orlando Bradley and George Ruff. All of whom praised the deceased and spoke words of comfort and hope to the bereaved family. Mrs. Ruff was 32 years of age. She will be missed by all who knew her and je membered for her energetic and jovial nature and her kinkness to every one. The Sunday School Christmas committee com-mittee arranged for a very pleasant time at the Kosy Theatre Monday night. A comic three act play entitled en-titled Jumbo Jim was given in con-nection con-nection with the picture show. After the show the Y. L. M. I.
