Mr. and Mrs. Ham-rmnd Ham-rmnd of Moab, Mrs. Otis Cheney of Oregon, Miss Allie Hansen of Dayton Day-ton Idaho, Mr. Chester Asplund of Canada, Mr. and Mrs. Jue Clayton of Provo, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Sundwail Sund-wail of Salt Lake City and Prof. Guy C. Wilson and wife. Mr. Eli Rollison is the guest of Miss Dora Day. All the students who have been away attending school are home for the holidays. MissMarj Sundwail wno is teaching teach-ing scnool at Moab. and Merlin Mad sen who is teaching in Idaho are home for the holidays. Mrs. Peter Anderson is spending the holidays in Sait Lake City. Oscar Anderson captured one of the fair daughters of Midway, and they were mar lied in the Salt Lake Temple Wednesday Dec. 24th. Dr. Byron Reese of Salt Luke City is the guest of Dr. Edmonds. A surprise was given Mrs. Frank Cox by a number of her friends on Dec. 21st. A very pleasant evening was spent. A wrestling match was pulled off at the Zenith theatre Tuesday night Dec. 23, between Andrew Anderson of Fairview and Jack Rasmussen of Eph-aim. The first fall waa awarded award-ed to Rasmussen in four minutes by a oar arm. Mr. Rasmussen seemed to be the aggressor at first and tried for a toe hold, which' was easily broken, he then secured the bar arm and secured the first fall. The second fall was awarded to Andrew Anderson in four minutes and forty five seconds. Anderson took the aggressive ag-gressive and kept his man working to break one hold after another and finally secured the bar arm and pined Rasmussen in shoulders to the mat. The third fall was awarded to Anderson An-derson in forty five seconds by a bar arm and head chancery. It was I plain to see when they came together to-gether for the third fall that Ras-was Ras-was out matched. |
