Show FAIRVIEW The stork called at the home of Carl Sundwall October 28th and left them a fine baby boy. Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Johnson went to Salt Lake City last 1 week. Mr. Johnson has been in poor health for some time and went to receive treat- ( ment. I Mrs. James C. Allred visited with her husband at Price during the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Loren Anderson of Moroni spent Saturday and Sunday with relatives at Fairview. Carl Lindquist was a Provo visitor the fore part of the week. His mother, moth-er, Mrs. Louisa Lindquist came home with him. Her health is reported to be improved. Miss Dora Larsen of Provo is spending the week with her sister, Mrs. Hyrum Anderson. Mr. and Mrs, Ezekiel Cheney entertained en-tertained October 31st in honor of their silver wedding anniversary. The afternoon and evening were spent in singing, nwisic, games and social chat. About forty guests were served both dinner and supper and enjoyed a very good time. Miss Rowena Day entertained a few friends in honor of her birthday November 2nd. A social evening was spent, dainty refreshments being served to the following guests: Misses Mary Sundwall, Olena Olsen, Marcel-la Marcel-la Lassen, Mamie Madsen, Flossie Anderson, An-derson, Dora Larsen and Mrs. Hyrum Hy-rum Anderson. On Wednesday evening a party was given at the home of Mrs- John Vance in honor of her father, Joseph Briggs sixty-sixth birthday. An excellent supper was served and the evening spent in games and social chat. Twenty Twen-ty guests were present, all his children chil-dren and a few relatives. A small boy of James C. Allred had his arm broken Monday. A surprise party was given at the home of Mr. .and Mrs. Burns Cox in honor of Mrs. Cox's birthday. A very pleasant social evening was spent in games and music. Olsen, Mr. and Mrs. Amasa Cox, Mrs. Ira Cox, Stanley Cox, Verona Cox and Mrs. E. K. Hansen. Mr. Cowley gave a very interesting talk in the conjoint session of the mutuals Sunday evening.
