Show To the Peop'a of this Community There are many urgent reasons for buying War Bonds. First, the invasion needs money. Bonds pay for planes'and guns and munitions mu-nitions with f & which to S ? S r1 beat the v ' II Axis. Our i'fV I fightingmen v-li I must have 000 VSCD the best pos-lj pos-lj W for-jn?! sible equip-A equip-A V A 7' 11 ment and it S ti j-W-H is up to us PA P'hiJ to let our iiMiii'iiii-iff""'5 money provide pro-vide this. A second reason is this: There is a shortage of goods now. Later on there will be plenty for civilian civil-ian desires. Money put into War Bonds now will be available then. Business opportunities will be open then, too, and the "nest egg" saved now may hatch out commercially then. Money put into War Bonds now will be deprived of its current cur-rent potentiality as a part of the causes of inflation. You will be doing your part toward stabilizing stabiliz-ing the money situation by buying buy-ing Bonds instead of dwindling stocks. That is a third reason. But the best reason from a selfish viewpoint is this: Right now there is no better investment invest-ment than War Bonds. There is no safer repository or your money. By buying Bonds you become be-come a stockholder in the strongest strong-est "going" concern in the world today, the United States of America. THE EDITOR. |
