David A. Little, Harold A. Young, Urban Madsen, and O. V. E Anderson were named as the general program committee for the purpose of planning special contests, hikes, and games during dur-ing the three days' stay and also Swere instructed to obtain the best possible specialties in the fields of swimming, plant life, fishing, etc. so that the Scouts could obtain ob-tain first hand knowledge of the skills so necessary to every boy. All boys who expect to fish are advised by Game Warden O. V. Anderson to have their appropriate ap-propriate fishing license on their person because he expects to be in attendance all three days if he can stand the smell of the pines and his own cooking that long, all of which goes with outdoor out-door life. During the course of the meeting meet-ing much thought was given to the possibility of using the Beaver Bea-ver Dams Scout Lodge for this great scout outing, but it was decided that the Bulger camp site - was best suited because of its splendid accomodations for camp fire programs, its close proximity to fishing, boating and swimming, swim-ming, its pure Water supply, and the shady pines, that Boy Scouts like so much. |
