Show Ephraim Man Gets Stiii Sentence For Allegedly Being Stiii Ninety days in the county jail is the sentence received by Roy Nielsen of Ephraim in the court of Justice of the Peace J. Ben Staker Monday. The case will be appealed, counsel for Mr. Nielsen stated. Mr. Nielsen was arrested twice in Ephraim on October 10 by Reed Collard, state patrolman. patrol-man. The first arrest was on a charge of being intoxicaetd in a public place. In the evening he was again arrested on a charge of driving an automobile while intoxicated. The accused pleaded guiity to charges on the first count at a trial conducted in the justice 0. the peace court Oct. 11. Justice Staker withheld sentence until the trial on the second charge was completed. The trial was held Monday and Mr. Nielsen was convicted. It was then that the 90-day sentence was placed upon him; 30 days on the first conviction and 60 on the second. |
