Some seven sev-en million Americans viewed Abraham Abra-ham Lincoln in death. Perhaps i.ini.uln greatness found its finest expression In his second Inaugural address ln that climatic passage: "With malice mal-ice toward none, with charity for all." In that speech he pleaded with the American people to display the same greatness of soul that had characterized his own life. Americans, today faced with many of the problems that Lincoln was confronted with, will honor his memory mem-ory In prayer and reverence on February Feb-ruary 12, 1946. |
