Show MQ3TH SANPETE HIGHLIGHTS Mrs. Gwendolyn .T Kay returned re-turned Sunday from Logar. where she spent two days " in conference with fifteen other homemakine teachers from Utah high schoti. Also attending were senio-Home senio-Home Economics students, and the teacher training staff of th;-Utah th;-Utah Agricultural College. The conference, under the direction di-rection of Miss Helen S. Cawley of the School of Home Economics, Econom-ics, was in preparation for the training program carried out in various high schools of the state. Mrs. Kay said that she met and discussed plans with the college girl who will be a North Sanpete hih school fo her training period in January The trainee is Miss Mildrc' Fielding of Shelley, Idaho. Thi" is the second year that the homemaking department or North Sanpete high school ha1-been ha1-been used as a train'nr? cene for girls majoring in Home Eco nomics at U. S. A. C. A committee con?iting of Af ton Anderson, Virginia Ann Scn-vil, Scn-vil, and Ludean Amundsen with Mrs. Gwendolyn J. Kay as adviser, ad-viser, is working on plans for organizing F. H. A. "Future Homemakers of America" chapter chap-ter at North Sanpete high school. F H. A. is a nationa" organization of high school home economics students comparable comp-arable to Future Farmers of America, the national organization organiza-tion of high school agricultural students. Girls of Triple S, North Sanpete high school pep club, have jus! completed "cutting out" 42 bright red skirts all alike under un-der the direction of Mrs. Kay. home economics teacher. We are all looking forward to seein-this seein-this pep organization blossor-forth blossor-forth in their flashy new uniforms. uni-forms.
