Show Snow College to Celebrate 54th Anniversary Plans are nearing completion' for the 54th anniversary of the founding of Snow College, on November 7, announces H. E. Jensen, general chairman. The events will begin with a parade at nine o'clock. Following Follow-ing 'will be a program. Speaker of tine day, Therald N. Jensen of Price, former resident of Manti and student body president at Snow, will speak on "Significance "Signifi-cance of Education in Democracy." Democ-racy." x ) Immediately after the program tnere will be a banquet. Bruce Jennings, a former student at Snow, representative mam aind editor of the Snowdrift, now in the Manti high ' school faculty, will act as toastmaster. Toasts will carry out the theme of the day: "Fundamentals and Safeguards Safe-guards of Democracy." Lyman Willardse.-J is improvising impro-vising means to get the Alumni Association organized to participate partici-pate in the activities, along 'with the local schools and community. Athletic activities will be corn-ducted corn-ducted am the campus, in the afternoon, and a dance at night will complete the day's activities. |
