Show Former Wasatch Student Serving With R. C. A. F. Ken.vood L. St. John, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. St. John of Ry-ey, Ry-ey, Aluerta, Canada, former res-.uents res-.uents oi Levan, Utah, has recently rec-ently been promoted to sergeant and is now serving overseas as wireless operator and air gunner with the R C A F, according to '.vord received by friends here. He was graduated from Wasatch academy in 1934. He completed- a.' training.; course in Canada and was sent: to Scotland last March. After a turee months' training period in! England, he became a ,member of the Royal Canadian air force attached to the R A F, and has oeen in active service since. In this last letter to his parents, dated August 15, he said that he was out all night oa duty and tried to sleep during the day. A brother of Kenwood, Lloyd St. John, has been in the English Eng-lish navy since last November and since was been 'with the fleet to South America, Australia, New Zealand and islands in the Pacific ocean. |
