Show Eprairn Author Speaks at Lions Club Banquet, Feb. 28 Miss Grace Johnson of Eph-raim Eph-raim was guest speaker of the evening at the banquet for Lions club members and their wives at North Sanpete high school on Wednesday, February 26th. Miss Johnson is author of the book, "Coulter's Hell" and also wrote the Ephraim chapter of the D. U. P. centennial history for Sanpete county, "These Ou; Fathers". She has gained an enviable reputation as a platform plat-form speaker, lecturing widely throughout the country. It was only recently that Miss Johnson became interested ir. the research of early history in Sanpete and surrounding coun ties, and according to her, she became so fascinated by it she disliked, even taking time to sleep. It was Miss Johnson's suggestion sugges-tion that Sanpete County issue a booklet for tourists, describing describ-ing the attractions of this vicinity, vi-cinity, in order to secure tourist trade along Route S9 during oui Centennial year. A fine program was presented during the evening including a vocal duet by Mrs. Louis Ka; and Mrs. G. B. Madsen. accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. A. J. Pratt. Violin Vio-lin selections were played by Miss Rena . Anderson of Logan accompanied by Mrs. Pratt.
