"plendid Program Given At Soldiers' Farewell A splendid program was given Wednesday at the Mt. Pleasant South Ward chapel in honor of the 5ien who were inducted into service today. The High School band gave a most interesting program of musical mu-sical numbers. The Hon. James L. Nielson of Fountain Green was the principal prin-cipal speaker and did himself proud before the young men who are going to trie armed forces. He thrilled the audience with his patriotic talk. With him at his request came a group of young ladies from Fountain Green who contributed a number of musical selections and it was very much appreciated. Prayers were offered by George Squire and Burke McArthur. Principal Dean Bench acted as master of ceremonies.
