Show The Church Corner. North Ward Guardians Are Activity-Minded We Gardians of 1949 and SO held our first meeting Sept. 20, M the North ward chapel, under the direction of our teachers Mrs. Ruby Stansfield and Mrs. Lily Mae Allen. The moto for our year is: "Speak when spoken to and not out of turn," This moto was suggested by Marcia Hafen. Our officers are: President,. Leone Seely; Vice pres., Colleen Jessen; Secretary, Marcia Hafen; Reporters, Donna Brown and Lovina Lott. Class members are: Donna Brown, Marcia Hafen, C611een Jessen, Lovina Lott, Elain Reynolds, Rey-nolds, LaRue Reynolds, Faye Spolding, Charlotte Nelson. We enjoyed a party planned Tuesday, Sept. 27, 1949. Thirteen Thir-teen members were present at the meeting. New members are: Frances Allred, Ann Daniels, and Shanna Seely. We joined a in party planned by the class officers. It was held at Bob Nelsons place outside under the lights. We playejd Volley ball and went on a treasure trea-sure hunt. Lovina Lott Reporter Sermons On Apostle's Creed Continue At Presb. Church Services at the First Presbyterian Presby-terian Church during the coming com-ing week include the following, according to the Rev. Gregory Reid, pastor. Sunday School will meet in the regular classes at 10 a.m. At the 11 o'clock church service, the sermon will be "I believe in Jesus Christ." another in the series on the Apostle's Creed. Miss Christine Rawles will lead the evening meeting of the Westminster West-minster Fellowship at 7:15. At the Men's Night dinner of the Missionary Society of the Presbyterian Church,, Tuesday-records Tuesday-records made by various Chri-tian Chri-tian groups and individuals in Asia were played in addition to the preveiously announced film, "And Now I See". North Ward Sacrament Meet To Include Speech and Song Ferdie Peterson, 1st councilor to the Bishop, will be in charge of Sacrament Meeting in the Mt. Pleasant North Ward, Sunday. The Speakers from the Girl's organization or-ganization will be Miss Shana Hafen, the other speakers will be from the Stake Missionaries; A. J. Anderson and Limon Stewart. Ste-wart.
