The afternoon program was: community singing; prayer; a song, La Ree and Don Rue Hickman; Hick-man; vocal solo, Golden Carlston; Carls-ton; rhythem band, children; Professor Dinkle-Boughton, Scientist Sci-entist and magician; reading, Beth Carlston; vocal solo, Clara (Johnson; vocal solo, Henry Barker; Bar-ker; stunts, Gladys Anderson and Violet Larser.. There were 124 relatives present. pres-ent. Officers nominated were: Eugene Eu-gene Barker, President; Henry Terry, Vice President; Goldie Mower, Secretary and Treasurer; Don Barker, Historian; Elwin Garlock, Photographer. Mr. and Mrs. Otis Neilsen and son and Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Anderson And-erson and daughter have just returned re-turned from a trip to Southern Utah. They visited Cedar Breaks, Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, Kaibab Forest and Grand Canyon. They stopped for an afternoon and evening at Kanab and saw the movie stars, who were filming a moving picture there. Virginia obtained an autograph auto-graph from one of the stars. Mr. and Mrs. Worth Bench announce an-nounce the arrival of a son born on July 14th. This is their second son and third child. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Zimmerman Zimmer-man of Los Angeles returned home last week after a visit with Mrs. Zimmerman's mother, Mrs. Sarah Allred. Mr. and Mrs. Raldo Brady and Mrs. Hazel Peterson and daughter, daugh-ter, Marajean were week end visitors vis-itors at the home of their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Brady. Mrs. Leona Halberg and grandson, grand-son, George Calhoun and Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Halburt and two I daughters of Lawn Dale, Cali- fornia are visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Sanders. They are on their way to Nebraska. Nebras-ka. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Sanders entertained at a dinner in honor of their daughter, Bessie Leonora on her second birthday. Present were a great grandmother, Mrs. Leona Halburg of Lawn Dale, California and a great grandfather, grand-father, Jordan Brady, Fairview; also her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Sanders, Fairview. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Vance have returned from a honeymoon trip to Idaho where they visited relatives rela-tives and friends. They will make their home in Fairview for the present. Claus Stewart, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lanson Stewart of Salt Lake City, spent ' the week end with relatives and friends in Fairview. Mr. and Mrs. Blain Vance and two children, Maurice and Venice Ven-ice of San Diego, California are visiting for two weeks with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Vance at Fairview. |
