Show Hilda Elida Beckstrom Dies In a Salt Lake City Hospital Hilda Elida Beckstrom, 80, of 633 E. 7th South, Salt Lake City, died in a Salt Lake hospital Monday Mon-day at 3:30 p. m. after a lingering linger-ing illness, She was born in Mt. Pleasant May 27, 1866, a daughter of Andrew And-rew and Louise Beckstrom. She lived here until four years ago, when she moved to Salt Lake City. Survivors include two brothers, Edward and Arthur Beckstrom, and two sisters, Mrs. Emily Smith and Mrs. Annette Morris, all of Salt Lake City. Funeral services were conducted con-ducted at 2 p. m. Thursday in the Jacobs mortuary funeral parlor par-lor by Jay Winkelman, bishop of Mt. Pleasant L D S North ward. A quartet, "Rock of Ages," was sung by George Squire, A. L. Peterson, Opal Scoville and Alta Jensen, Opening prayer was offered by T. W. West. The quartet sang, "Though Deepening Trials Wend Your Way." Daniel Rasmussen spoke of her life and character. A vocal solo, "Sometime We'll Understand," was sung by Jea-nine Jea-nine Srandsen. Mrs. Dean Sorensen was the accompanist ac-companist for all musical numbers. num-bers. The closing prayer was offered by President H. C. Jacobs. Interment was in the Mount Pleasant City cemetery where the grave was dedicated by Edward Ed-ward Beckstrom. Burial was under un-der direction of the Jacobs Mortuary. |
