Show Farm Accident Takes Life of Prominent Man .Ernest T. Blackham of Moroni Died Wednesday lorning From Injuries Received In Fall From Load of H,y Ernest T. Blackham, ."6, prominent prom-inent farmer and turkey grower, died Wednesday morning from injudies he received Tu sday afternoon af-ternoon in a fall from aload of hay. Mr. Blackham was leaving his farm on an unusually large load of hay when he slipped from the load and fell between the horses and the front of the wagon. wag-on. The wagon ran over him and he suffered internal injuries and a fractured right leg. He was born in Moroni May 4, 1S88, a son of Samuel and Annie Sophia Larsen Blackham. He married Lucy Draper of Moroni in the Manti L D S temple June 22, 1910. He served in the northern north-ern states L D S mission from 1910 to 1912. He was also former Sanpete county deputy treasurer. He is survived by his mother and his widow; also four sons and daughters, Garnell Blackham, Black-ham, with the U. S. army in Texas; Tex-as; La Monte Blackham, Mrs. Vawn Guymon and Mrs. Deneice B. Madsen, Moroni; six grandchildren; grand-children; eight brothers and sisters, sis-ters, Arthur Blackham, Wales; Virgil and Angus Blickham, Ruth, Nevada; William P. Blackham, Black-ham, Alaska; Clarence Blackham and Mrs. Dora Spell, Moroni; Mrs. Myrtle Mullins, San Mateo, Cal., and Mrs. Louise Hansen, Murray. Jacobs Mortuary of Mt. Pleasant Pleas-ant will announce funeral arrangements. |
