Show Parent Education Slated By P-T-A Local P-TA and education leaders last Friday and Saturday attended a two-day workshop in Ephraim conducted by the Utah Congress of Parents and Teachers Teach-ers and led by Winifred Hazen ! of the State Department of Public Pub-lic Instruction. The purpose of the project was to train leaders to carry on parent education work in the I field of family relationships, according ac-cording to Mrs. Samuel S. Stew- lart, Mt. Pleasant P-TA president As a result, the Mt. Pleasant P-TA is now prepared to conduct study groups for the purpose understanding and improving I social relationships of children. Sessions are to be held vveekh for a period of six weeks, Mrs. Stewart said. A check is now being made- tc determine community interest in topics for discussion. Thost prepared include: The Preschool Pre-school Child His Emotional Development; De-velopment; The Elementars School Child His Growth Thr Broadened Social Contacts; Th Adolescent H i s Developmen Toward Maturity.
