Show Heart Attack Is Fatal To Plumber I Funeral services for Chesley L. , Christensen, 51, Mt. Pleasant j plumber who was stricken with a heart attack early Thursday morning, will be conducted at the Mt. Pleasant North ward Monday at 2 p.m. under the direction di-rection of Bishop - Arnold Y Stevens. Although Mr. Christensen was in apparent good health the day prior to his death and had engaged en-gaged in his regular employmen at the Geneva Steel plant, rela-tiys rela-tiys said he had complained of pains and a stiffness in his awns several weeljts ago. Death came to 1 i the local plumber at 5:30 f.m. Thursd at a Provo rooming house where he boarded during his emr ment at Geneva. Ha maintained his home at Mt. Pleasant and spent the weekends here with his family. Mr. Christensen was born Drc. 28, 1898 at Mt. Pleasant, a I son of T. M. and Stella Bennett Christensen. He attended local schools and in addition to his p'umbing work had engaged in f.irming and electrical work. He married Lettie Averett at Mt. Pieasant April 6, 1927. He was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Pleas-ant North ward and was affiliated affil-iated with a Provo local of the piumbers' union. Survivors, in addition to his father and his widow, are thres sons and two daughters: Chesley Ray Christensen,. Provo; Paul and Jerry Christensen, Mt. Pleasant; Pleas-ant; Jean Christensen Savage Price, and Alice Lynn Christensen, Christen-sen, Mt. Pleasant; the following brothers and sisters: Auer, Allie and Ray Christensen, Mt. Pleas ant; Tom Christensen, Wendover and LaVern C. Cullis and Hanna C. Cooper, Salt Lake city, and three grandchildren. Burial will be at the Mt. Pleasant cemetery under the direction di-rection of the Ursenbach funeral home. |
