Show Oliver Cambron Home on Short Visit To Old Town Oliver Cambron, Merchant Mall Ma-ll rine, is home this week for a very short visit to the old home town. . It looks good to Oliver. It is his J old home, where he has many (m (ond memories of the past even ' though he has been in the service serv-ice of his country in some one branch or another since 1937. Oliver has recently returned from the Alaskan waters. He served in the U. S. Army in Hawaii from 1937 to 1939, and then he joined the Merchant Marines where he served from 1939 to 1941, then he went into Army again until 1943, when he had his last engagement at Attu and was sent to a hospital to i recuperate. When he recovered he entered the Merchant Marine 'il service again, and is now acting as Purser of a ship. Oliver is a strong young man and has been through many in-I in-I teresting experiences, i His mother lives in Salt Lake & City. He is the son of "Pat" Cam- I hron, whom we know so well by (' the name of "Pat." |
