Dr. and Mrs. Vasco Tanner and family of Provo and Mr. and Mrs. Evan Stewart of Pomona, California Cali-fornia were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Myron Tanner last week. Private Arthur L. Jensen has left for his station at Bruns Hospital Hos-pital Santa Fe, New Mexico, after visiting with his wife, Mrs. June Jensen and daughter, La Nila for a few days. While home he attended the funeral services for his aunt, Mrs. Sophia Draper. Mr. and Mrs. Cleston Mower left for Detroit, Mich, last week. Mr. Mower will bring back a new School Bus for the North Sanpete schools. Mrs. Lorna Tucker entertained a few friends at her home last Friday afternoon. A hot dinner was served to Mrs. Hyrum Hansen, Han-sen, Mrs. Ellen Peterson, Mrs. Frencis Christofferson, Mrs. Matilda Ma-tilda Brady ans Mrs. Minerva Vance. The afternoon was psent in a pleasant social hour which was followed by doing needle work. Mr. Max Jensen, who is in the U S Service and who has been stationed in New Mexico, and. his wife, who has been living in New Mexico, are visiting with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Le Vern Jensen. Mrs. Dora Jacobs of New Mexico Mex-ico has been visiting with her mother, Mrs. Ellis Coombs and other relatives. Mrs. Coombs and her daughter, Mrs. Jacobs are at present visiting with another daughter, Mrs. Esther Durfee and family at Bicknell, Utah.
