Last year the OPA was able to run the entire rationing program at a cost of only 41 cents for every person who held a rationing book. This not only includes salaries paid OPA workers work-ers but the cost of office rent, typewriters, tons of paper, print-ins print-ins of ration books and the manufacturing of tokens The large part played by volunteer workers has helped to keep this cost so low. The volunteers are the men and women of your ration ra-tion board. |
