Show FOUNTAIN GREEN 1 By Special Correspondence j Dr. T. Warren Allred Passes Relatives and friends were advised ad-vised Monday morning of the sudden death of Dr. T. Warren Allred, former resident of Fountain Foun-tain Green. Dr. Allred died at the Payson hospital Sundayeve-ning Sundayeve-ning after a short illness. He was born in Fountain Green July 4, 1887, a son of Thomas Warren Allred, Sr., and Sarah Elizabeth Collard Allred. He was educated in the Fountain Green schools and later graduated at the Brigham Young University, the University of Utah and the North Western University of Chicago. Before practicing medicine he was a teacher in several public schools in Utah and was widely known as an accomplished violinist. vio-linist. He has been a Juab County Coun-ty Physician for 19 years, was a member of the Nephi Kiwanis club for many years, also a member mem-ber of the American Legion, Nephi Ne-phi Post No. 1 and a member of the Board of Education at the time of his death. Survivors are his widow, Anna Duke Allred, whom he married Sept. 1, 1916; a daughter, Miss Helen Allred, Nephi; a brother and two sisters, Howard Allred j and Mrs. Clara B. Olsen, Fountain Foun-tain Green, and Ercel Olsen, Monroe. ' Social Happenings Second Lieutenant Karl Seeley, snn of Mavor Lvman Seeley, in: making a cross country flight, made a brief visit at the home of his father at Fountain Green. Karl pilots a B-24 and his base is in Alabama. Clair Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Anderson, has entered the U. S. Navy and has reported for service Tuesday, Aug. 8th at Salt Lake City. I Mr. and Mrs. N. M. Jensen had as their guests during the week, their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. E. Collard ofi Provo, their granddaughter, Miss Eva Johnson and a friend, Miss Betty Luke of Heber City. Perry Allred of McGill,, Nevada is visiting for a few days with relatives and frineds at Moroni. Mr. and Mrs. George Olsen and daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Orvin Anderson and children of Fair-view Fair-view visited Sunday in Fountain Green. Mrs. Charles Hansen of Tooele, Utah is visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. R. Ivory. Vaunile and Merrill Anderson, son and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. Elmo Anderson, are spending their vacation in Standardville, Utah, the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Tuscon. Mrs. Edna Edmunds and son of Salt Lake City are visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lauritz Madsen. The Stake Relief Society organization organ-ization will hold their annual outing at Maple Canyon Tuesday, Tues-day, Aug. 22nd. |
