Show LateSummer Wedding Are Held For Sanpete Society Seely Christiansen ! An attractive member of Mt. Pleasant's younger set will become be-come the bride of a young man from Fountain Green Friday, September 9, when Miss Patricia Seely weds Kener Christiansen. Miss Seely is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H Rex Seely and the groom-to-be is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Christiansen. The bride-to-be was active in extra curricular circles at North Sanpete San-pete high school from which she graduated last Spring. Mr. Christensen is a graduate of Moroni high school and is presently pre-sently a student at Brigham Young University at Provo. A reception,-wilL.be. held for the young couple at the home of the bride's parents from 7 to 10 p.m. following the wedding rites. Matron of honor will be Mrs. Charles Wicks, sister of the bride Best man will be O'Neil Hansen. Flower girls wil be Pamela Sue Jackson and Charlene Wicks. The couple will make a home in Provo. Nelson Gough A wellknown former residenl of Mt. Pleasant, Mrs. L. P. Nelson Nel-son of Glendale, California, will wed Bishop William J. Gough also of Glendale, Saturday evening even-ing at the Manti temple. " Mrs. Nelson is the widow of the late L. P. Nelson, forme postmaster at Mt. Pleasant. Bishop Gough served as bishop of the Glendale ward when it was organized 26 years ago. His son, Basil Gough, is presently bshop of the Glendale ward. The couple are coming to Manti with members of their, families especially for the ceremonies which will be performed per-formed by Temple President Anderson. Several friends in Mt. Pleasant Plea-sant have been invited to attend. Gustin lorgensen An open house Tuesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David Jorgensen will honor newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Dan Jorgensen who were married August 27 at the Springville home of the brides parents. The open house for their son and daughter-in-law will be conducted by Mr. and Mrs. Jorgensen Jor-gensen at their Mt. Pleasanl home from 4 to 9 p.m. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Gustin of Springville Spring-ville and was the former Alice Gustin. She is a graduate of Springville high school. The groom is a graduate of Wasatch Academy and served two years with the navy. The bride is a granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Bigler of Mt. Pleasant. The couple spent a short honeymoon at Bryce Canyon and will make their home in Mt. Pleasant. A number of socials have been arranged for the newly-weds. |
