Show Church Corner... Jacobs Plan Genalogical Meeting At North Ward Monthly Fast meeting will be conducted at the Mt. Pleasant North Ward Sunday at 11:45 a.m., it was announced by the bishopric. The regular evening sacrement service will feature genalogiea' subjects and will be under the ward's genealogical committei of which H. Charlton Jacobs is chairman. Featured speaker at the evening even-ing services will be Jay W. Winkleman, former bishop ol the North ward. Musical numbers will include a duet by Mrs. Peari Peterson and Mrs. Myra Peterson and an organ solo by Mrs. Florence Flor-ence Bagnall. New Officers Named To Head Primary Mrs-- Neil Hafen is the new, president of the Mt. Pleasant North Ward Primary Association. She succeeds Mrs. Ed Jensen. Other new officers of the children's organization are Mrs. Royal Madsen and Mrs. Stanley Peterson, counselors. The fall program will begin Monday at 2:30 p.m. for preschool pre-school children and after school is out for those of school age. Secretary Of Missionary Association To Speak Dr. William C. Ross, Salt Lake city and field representative representa-tive of the board of national missions of the Presbyterian church, will be the speaker at Sunday service at the First Presbyterian church. The morning worship services ser-vices at which Dr. Ross will speak the sermon, will began at 11 a.m. MIA To Skate At Bungalow , A skating party at the Old Bungalow, Moroni, will conclude the North Ward MIA's summer program. The affair is slated for Sept. 8. Transportation will be furnished furn-ished for all those at the church lawn at 7:30 p.m. Admission for skating will be 50c. Social Security Official To Visit Mt. Pleasant Soon The September visit to Mt. Pleasant of a representative of the Provo Social Security Administration Admin-istration office will be made on September 23, 1949, rather than the date originally announced according to word received today to-day from Sherman H. Ruesch. Manager. The representative may be contacted at the City Hall at 1:00 p.m. on September 23rd for answers to general questions about Old-Age and Survivors Insurance and for assistance in the filing of claims for retirement retire-ment or death benefits. Lowell Hansen Named President of North Sanpete Teacher's Association Lowell Hansen, science instructor instr-uctor at North Sanpete high school has been re-elected president pre-sident of North Sanpete Teacher's Association with Mrs. Miriam T. Neilson as vice-president and Wesley Johansen, secretary. Members of the associvent on record as favoring salaries on a twelve month basis. Edson Allred, Magician. Of Tooele. Performs For Croud A delightful affair on Saturday evening was a house party given by Mr. and Mrs. Ray Neil-sen. Neil-sen. Ed Allred formerly of Spring City, with his marry magic tricks and gags kept the crowd roaring. Even the local fliers with all their speed could not keep up with Ed's "whiffle dust."
