Show C. C. E. Peterson Dies In Salt Lake City C. C. E. Peterson, S9, died Wednesday Wed-nesday at 6:30 a. m. at the home of a son, Victor T. Peterson, 614 Leland ave., Salt Lake City, of causes incident to age. Mr. Peterson was born in Fredricks Haven, Denmark, March 9, 1S57, and joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in 1S78. serving a two-year mission in Denmark before coming to Utah in 1SS0. Mr. Peterson married Johanna Johan-na E. Christensen, July 3, 1SS1, and they resided in Mt. Pleasant until Mrs. Peterson's death six years ago. While in Mt. Pleasant, Mr. Peterson served a mission for the L. D. S. chuch and had been an active temple worker. Many years ago he was called on to help organize the M. I. A. in northern Utah. Survivors include three sons and two daughters, C. W. Peterson, Peter-son, Victor T. Peterson and Mrs. Estella Johnson, all of Salt Lake City; L. A. Peterson, Muskogee, Oklahoma, and Mrs. J. B. Reynolds, Rey-nolds, Hayward, California; a sister. Elsa Svendsen. Oslo. Norway, 25 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held from the Mt. Pleasant North ward chapel Saturday at one o'clock. The local bishopric will be in charge. |
