Bishop Winkelman Injured In Freak Accident Bishop Jay Winkelman sustained sus-tained a deep scalp wound on the right side of his head Monday Mon-day afternoon while cutting lumber in the east mountains; his axe caught in the limbs of a tree and in dislodging it, the axe struck Bishop Winkleman on his head. I Fellow workers rushed him to a local hospital where the wound required sveral stitches. 1 Fairview South Ward To Honor Retiring Relief Society Officers All girls and women are invited in-vited to attend the Relief Society party, Friday at 2 p. m. in the Fairview South ward recreation hall in honor of the retiring officers of-ficers and class leaders, Valera Cheney, Selma Sanderson, Lola Fowlcs, Ellis Madsen, Margaret Bench and Mayme Pritchett. Tributes will also be paid to the block teachers who will be guests of honor that day also. Meaning Of Freedom Will Be Sermon Topic At Presbyterian Church William Burton will conduct the eleven o'clock worship service of the First Presbyterian Church on Sunday morning. The subject of his sermon will be "Freedom Has Two Faces." Special music will be offered by a women's trio composed of Mrs. S. H. Gill, Mrs. Roger Hansen and Miss Mary Langer. Their accompanist ,will be Miss Harriet Terry. Sunday School classes will be held at ten o'clock, preceding j the morning church service.
