Show 1 SPRING CITY j 1 By Special Correspondence ; Mrs. Josephine Christensen returned re-turned home Wednesday after visiting vis-iting for a week in Spanish Fork with Mrs. Charles Christiansen hfrSOn, Hansen has returned heme from Murray where she received re-ceived medical treatment from Dr A. J. Hoenes. She has been suffering suffer-ing from heart trouble for the past six months. Mrs. Hansen anc, her son, Amasa, also visited witri her daughters, Mrs. Vernon C. Nielson at Tremonton, Mrs. K. A. Nielson at Salt Lake City, and Mrs. K. W. Shields at South Jordan. Jor-dan. Mrs. Cloesen of Idaho is visiting here with her sister, Mrs. Almina Peterson. Mrs. Christine Strate entertained at a dinner Saturday in memory of her mother's birthday. Mrs. Mina Carlsen, Mrs. Laura Rosencrantz and Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Jensen were special guests. Mrs. Chris Rosencrantz, . Mrs. Vern Bills, Harold Monsen and Coleman Pritchett of Fairview were Spring City visitors Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Racom and children' chil-dren' of Ogden visited here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Niels N. Dahl, last week. George, Boyd and Burns Allred, Preston Mitchell and Lynn Barney have returned home from Nevada where they sheared sheep. Mrs. Diantha Larsen of Salt Lake City visited this week with relatives and friends in this city. She attended funeral services at Ferron last week for her brother, J. F. Olsen, a former resident of this city. Arthell Allred, Waldo Hansen and Udell Christensen motored to Sa-ltna Sa-ltna Tuesday and took the examination examin-ation for the reforestry work. Mr. and Mrs. Gregson Schofield and children left Monday for Bingham Bing-ham where they v. ill visit wi,:i Mr. and Mrs. Dean lirsen. Miss Golda Acord and Mrs. wy-roa wy-roa Hansen are attending summer school at the B Y U. in Prow. Mrs. Cleo Burquist and son, Franklin, of Salt Lake are visiting in this city. They were accompanied accompan-ied here by Mrs. Joseph Justesen and Mrs. Sarah E. Hyde who have been visiting in Salt Lake City. Rodney Brough and Loren Larsen Lar-sen left Friday to attend the Century Cen-tury of Progress Exposition at Chicago. The following local people at tended conference in Salt Lake City: Loa Allred, Wyroa Hansen Margaret Petersen, Leona Terry Rose Schofield, Sarah Justesen June Clausen, Myrtle, Elva, Rutr and Grace Allred of the stake Primary board; Henry Schofield Mr and Mrs. Joseph G. Schofielo Ernest Terry, Maeser Bunnell Golda Acord and Angus Rasmus-sen. Rasmus-sen. Archie Barney and Alma Bensor were business visitors in Delta th fore part of the week. Mrs. Lvnn Barney entertainec at a party for her daughter, Doris Sunday, the occasion being hei thirteenth birthday anniversary. Mrs. Eva Ericksen entertained a dinner Tuesday in honor of he: daughter, Elaine's seventeentl birthday anniversary. Those present pre-sent were the Misses Ruth Jensen Wanda Watson, Marie Jensen Heulah Donaldsen, Fonda Jensei and the suest of honor. Mr. and Mrs. Willie Sorenei are home now. They have beer employed by the Livestock Com nanv for the past few years. |
