FOUNTAIN GREEN ' Bv Special Correspondence The newly appoint' d Primary Association As-sociation Officers, with Mrs. Ida Hansen, Superintendent, entertained entertain-ed last Wednesday evening in henor of the outgoing officers in the Municipal Mu-nicipal Hall where a fine program was rendered after which delicious reireshments were served. The Primary Pri-mary Stake officers were also in attendance. The Democrats and Republicans have held Primaries this week where the following were nominated nominat-ed for the purpose cf b:ing voted upon at the coining election: Democrats: Perry Allred, for Mayer; Bardell Collard, for 4-year councilman; Cliff May.r is the hold-over councilman; Murel Ivory. Hyrum Hansen and Elmer Carter for 2-year councilmen; An:y bam-uels bam-uels for Treasurer. Republicans: ..C. S. Augason, for Mayor; Law.ence Olsen, f r 4-year councilman; Osmond Crcwther, Niels Nielsen and Richard Pear-main Pear-main for 2-y.ar councilmen; Edith Allison for Treasurer. The Relief Society held their opening op-ening s.cial Tuesday where a fine program and testimony meeting was njoyed after which delicious refreshments re-freshments were served. A large number cf members were present. Mrs. Emma Seelcy and Ada Anderson, An-derson, repesenting the Primary Stake Officers, attended the Sea Gull and Trail Builders graduation exercis:s last Sunday at the Moroni East Ward chapel. Mrs. Kennedy Seager and children chil-dren of Tremont.n, Utah returned heme Sunday af.er having had a two weeks' visit at Fountain Green. On October 14th a group of Future Fu-ture Farmers of Moroni High Schcol will go to Kansas Cily, Mo. to attend the National convention and participate parti-cipate in bo h ch.rus and band wo k. The members from Fountain Green, who are lraving, are: Vance Aagard, Asel Olsen, Lloyd Frand-sen, Frand-sen, Karl Seeley, and Ballard Christiansen. |
