Show Early Pioneer Passes Away Martin S. Bohne Sr., 85, a Black Hawk Indian War veteran and a pioneer resident of Sanpete county, died at his home in this city Thursday, following a paralytic stroke. Mr. Bohne, for many years a resident of Fairview, and for the past 25 years of this city, was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, March 29, 1848. He was the son of Charles Fredrick and Helsina Yetting Bohne. He came to Utah in the early jO's crossing the plains in a hand cart company and locating in ?'oirview. He married Adelia Wing of Fair-view Fair-view in 1866 in the Endowment II aire in Salt Lake City. She died in 1910. He married Annie Murdock of Fail-view in 1911 and -he died in 1918. He later married. Mrs, Nicolena Ney of Mt. i t-"i .Hiit, His third wife died one year ago, Mr. Bohne worked on the first ailroad built in Utah. He was in the employ of President Brigham Young one year; worked in the E;cho Canyon tunnel; spent eleven years in the mines of Utah and engaged also in farming, sheep ""trie erowing and in the poultry business. He is the father ot eleven children. chil-dren. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Caroline Larsen Householder, Mt Pleasant; and the following sons and daughters: Joseph M. Bohne, Mrs. Sarah E. Seely, Martin S. Rohne, Jr., Mt. Pleasant; Henry P., William A., Arthur O. Bohne, Mrs. Arvilla F. Neilson, Fairview; Byron A.
