Mrs. Hannah Howell of Fair-view Fair-view visited last week here with her daughters, Mrs. Archie Barney Bar-ney and Mrs. Mar Dye. Mrs. Royall Allrcd visited the later part of last week in Salt Lake City where her brother, Wili'ord Mortensen and Mrs. Mortensen both are receiving medical treatment. Mr. and Mrs. John F. Justesen ' have been informed that their daughter, Cleo is in a Salt Lake ' hospital where she has undergone under-gone a miner operation. Archie Barney after a months visit in Delta returned home iSunday. I Eskil and Shirley Carlson of t'urika motored to Spring City Katurday to visit their mother, Mrs. Mina Carlson and sister, Mrs. Elwood Madsen who is in a serious condition at the home jof her mother in Spring City. ' Fire of undetermined origin swept through several buildings on the farm of Burns Allred Sunday Sun-day noon, while Mr. Allred was absent from home. The Flames destroyed a large barn, a cow shed and a pig pen, and a large quantity of hay stored in the barn. Two hogs were killed. Boyd Allred left Sunday for the Desert Livestock Company at Iseapa where he has employment. C. E. Allred was rushed Friday Fri-day to a hospital at Salt Lake when it was learned that blood-poison blood-poison had set in his leg caused oy a peice of iron falling on his foot smashing a toe. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Henkle of Salt Lake City were week end guests at the home of Mrs. Hen-kles Hen-kles parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur L. Anderson in Spring City. Mrs. Moyra Aiken and Forest Aiken of Salt Lake City were visiting relatives here the first ot ihe past week. Mrs. Peter Syndergaard accompanied ac-companied by her grandmother, Mrs. Elisabeth Larsen visited Sunday with relatives in Moroni. Mrs. Curtis Allred gave a party Monday to a number of young friends of her daughter, Carol it ue.ng her birthday. The town club members and iheir husbands enjoyed a thanksgiving thanks-giving supper and dancing party Monday evening in the Victory hall. Mrs. Halena Bunnell left Wednesday Wed-nesday for Grants Pass, Oregon where she will .visit a couple months with her daughter and son in law, Mr. and Mrs. Andy I Draper. |
