Show Annual State Convention to Be Held Here Plana for thj annual Utah State Christian Endeavor convention to be held in the First Preebyterian church in Mt. Pleasant October 18, 19 and 20 were announced Wednesday Wednes-day by officers of the local union. Registration cf delegates will begin be-gin at 4:30 p. m. Friday, October 18 and the opening 8?sion of the convention will begin at 7:30 p. m. In the church. Rev. N. R. Smith, pa'rtor of the local church and John Hillabrant, piwdent of the Mt. Pleasant Christian Chris-tian Endeavor union, will welcome the delegates, and ne of the vlsit'ng iriiv'sters will respond. At 9 p. m. a get-acquainted social will be held In the church dining hall. Saturday from 9 a. m. till II a. m. group conferences will dllcusa the various phases and activities of Christian Endeavor work. Saturday afternoon will be devoted to recreational recre-ational features. At 6 p. m. Saturday the young petcple will attend a banquet In the church dining hall, at which Rev. Robert D. Steele, vice-president of Westminster college, Salt Lake City, will be the principal speaker. Sunday's program includes a quiet hour at 8:45 a. m.; Sunday School at 10 a. m. and church services at 11 a. m. at which Rev. Theadore G. Lillry, pastor of the First Presbv-terian Presbv-terian church in Salt Lake City, w'll fpeak. 'In the afternoon sesiion the new officers will be installed and awards made. Special music has been planned for all sessions.
