Mrs. LeRoy Johl.isan of Salt Lake visitL-d over the week-end with her mother, Mrs. Sarah Clawson in Spring City. Mcrcud Brouh la 111 at his home In Spring City. Marinda Blllington visited her brothers in Provo Sunday. Mayor William LOe Allred took lils son, Darwin to Provo Sunday. He will attend the Brigham Young university there. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Samdstrom have gone to Salt Lake City to stay a couple of w'eks while their son and his family are on a trip to Caltformau The Sandatroms are in true poultry business. Irene Nielsen was a Salt Lake visitor over the week-ond. Ruth Thompson came home Sunday Sun-day from a visit in Salt Lake. She was called home when a younger sister met with an accident aaid aiffred a badly broken leg, together with other injuries. Miis El-ancr Larsen has returned home after a month's v.sit in Salt Lake CUy with her sister, Mrs. Lloyd B. Keyw. CJoyd Downard and Edwin Peder-in Peder-in wene Salt Lake visitors a few i.ay during the past week. Mrs. Kircrtine Strate entertained the Althea club members at her l:ome Sunday afternodn. Mr. and Mrs. Jos.ph Beck, Mrs. Sarah Ann Beck and Mrs. Albert Puaey attended funeral services in Springville Sunday for Miss Ella Maycock. Funeral services were held In the Sprirjg City ward chapel at 2 p. m. Thursday for Luis Justeaen, 81, a tornvr rtsdent of Spring City. Bithop James F. Ellis was in charge. Prayers were offered by William E. Robinson, and C. A. Larsen. Music was given by the ward choir, under the direction of Ernest Terry, with a special solo, "Oh, Dry Those Tears" by Mrs. Lola Watson. Tne sp-akers were John S. Blaln and William Lee Allred. Remarks were made by Bishop Ellis. Enterment was in the City cemetery. Mr. Justesea died at his home In Salt Lake City, on Monday, October 7th. He Is survived by his wife, Mary Allred Justcsen and three daughters affid a number of grand children.- Mr. and Mrs. Porter MerriU of Duchesrw visited the part week with Mrs. Merrell's Drother, J. Everett Larsen and family In Spring City. Miss Edna Watson, daughter of William E. Watson, Is attending the L D. S. Business Collee in Salt Lake City. |
