Show FOUNTAIN GKSEN H Hpecll Correspondence Friends and relatives of. Joseph Yorgason received word of his death in Nampa, Idaho, Tuesday, March 14th. Funeral services were held at Nampa, Friday, March 17th. Mr. Yorgason was born and raised n Fountain Green and moved to N'a.mpa, Idaho, in his later years. He was the son of James and Chris--ena Yorgason. Mrs. E. J. Johnson and daughter of Salt Lake City are visiting here mVn, her mother, Mrs. Edith Cook. The local chapter of the American Ameri-can Red Cross, under the leader-s leader-s ip of Mrs. Millie Mathias, is sponsoring spon-soring a class in first aid. Thirty-lave Thirty-lave members are enrolled. The ward Relief Society held their Annual Day program and banquet, ban-quet, Friday, March 17th in the Municipal Ha 11. A good attendance wa present and a very fine program' pro-gram' was given. Mr. and Mrs. William Rickenbau and children of Star Valley, Wyoming, Wy-oming, visited during the week at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Hansen. Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Anderson and sons of Standard, Carbon County, visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Anderson. Mr. Olof Olsoni has purchased part of the lot owned by N. M. Jensen Jen-sen and is building a home there. A testimonial for Elder Van Livingston, Liv-ingston, prior to his departure on Thursday morning for his mission to the Samoan Islands, was held .n the ward chapel Sunday evening. Miss Odessa Cook of Salt Lake City has been visiting for a few days with, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thctr.as Cook. The Moroni high school chorus and orchestra under the direction of Mr.r Ray Anderson, furnished program for the Parent Teacher reeting held Wednesday evening p. the ward chapel. The picture s-r-ow, "The Call of :he Yukon" was sponsored by the Boy Scouts of this city, under the direction cf their leader, Mr. Vern Davis. Monrny evening in the Foun-ain Foun-ain Green Theater. |
