He has made an A-l record in directing direct-ing the missionary work in his stake. One of the best men we know. We are glad and proud to have a friend like Wm R. Wallace, Wal-lace, vice-president and diretor of the Utah Oil Co. He has helped us out of several tight places. He has just celebrated his 77th birthday and looks like he is good for another decade de-cade or fo He has a long and splendid record of financ;al, political, pol-itical, community and social ssrvice to the state of Utah. His youngest son is in the air force as a lieutenant. If he had been partially rewarded for what he has done for Utah he would have been elected either governor or senator. He sincerely believes that the good sense of the people will save the American system and prevent pre-vent internal trouble-Mrs. trouble-Mrs. C. L Kimball, widow of the late Sol Kimball, son of Heber C. Kimball, ia a good subscriber and likes the paper She is a faithful employe of the Utah Woolen Mills, and has been there nearly fifteen years. She is proud that she is able to work and support herself. . Kenneth Larsen is out of the hospital and well on the way to recovery. About three weeks ago a certain man waylaid him and struck him a vicious blow with a bottle over the right ear which, together with the fall on the pavement rendered him unconscious for nearly a week. Neighbor W. A. Hudson was in Saturday for the (nd-of-the-year roundup. He is pretty well informed and doe a lot of reading and thinking. Ho is a first class workman and an upright, up-right, honest man. He is much interested in prophesy and keep informed on current events. Neighbor Harold F. Stewart never fails to come in at the right time and he always has the right kind of words to say. A man he is, to all who know him dear, And one who grows jn goodness year by yea'r. Our friend and Neighbor Mr Ira N. Hinckley has passed on from this existence into the greatBeyond to where he tikes about as pcrfeet a passport as a human being can bring over.He leaves to his posterity the mem ory of a goodly life and a noble character Christmas Gift!
