Show Funeral Rites for Morton Cobbley Held on Tuesday Funeral services were held on Tuesday for Morton Cobbley, 89, who died last Friday at the home of a brother in Salmon, Idaho. The services were held at the Olpin-Sundberg Mortuary Chapel in Pleasant Grove at 10 ajn. under the direction of Bishop Bish-op Leon Walker of Lindon Ward. Speakers at the services were Alberta Walker, Reed Gillman and D. B. Thorne. Musical numbers were given by Beula Gillman and Ida Mae Christiansen, "In the Garden" accompanied by Nelda Rawlinson and by Eva Millett and Patsy Roundy, accompanied by Virginia Vir-ginia Young. Opening prayer was given by Don B. Walker and the closing prayer by Julian Hansen. The grave in ithe Pleasant Grove City Cemetery was dedicated by Ray Loveless. Pallbearers were Earl Kirk, Orvil Carter, Leonard Shoell, Lavar Loveless, B Cobbley, Val-een Val-een (Bill) Cobbley. Flowers were cared for and arranged by the Lindon Ward Relief Society. Mr. Cobbley was born Sept. 26 1870 in Pleasant Grove to Robert J. and Caroline Harris Cobbley. He married Sina Sorensen Dec. 3, 1915, Blaokfoot, Idaho, later solemnized In the Salt Lake Temple. Survivors include a brother, Ernest, Salmon, Idaho; four sisters, sis-ters, Mrs. Ella Partch, Ventura,' Calif.; Mrs. Vera Dohney, San Jose, Calif.; Mrs. Olive Kirk, American Fork; Mrs. Rava Loveless, Love-less, Oram. |
