JACK WILKINSON Neola Gillman Becomes Bride of Jack Wilkinson in Salt Lake Temple At impressive rites performed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, Neola Gillman became the wife of Jack Wilkinson on Thursday, Sept. 3. The newly married couple were honored at a recep- . tion Friday evening given by the bride's parents in the Lindon Ward recreation hall. Officiating at the wedding ceremony was John B. Hawks. For her wedding, the bride chose white lace over taffeta with chrystalette ruffles which she designed and made herself. Her bridal bouquet was a white vanda orchid with split carnations. carna-tions. Her elbow length veil was caught up to a crown -of pearled hearts and diamond shapes. Sister of .the ibride, Lorna Gillman, Gill-man, was maid of honor and the 'bridesmaids were Dorothy Wilkinson, Wilk-inson, Erlene Huish, Bailee John- son and Janeoe Wilkinson. They 'Carried small baskets of yellow mums, tied with orchid ribbons. For her daughter's ' wedding, Mrs. Gillman chose a royal blue crepe frock while the groom's mother was attired in a gray net over pink taffeta dress. They each wore a large vanta orchid. The duties of best man was performed by Larry Harris and ushers were Lee Gillman, Ken Gray, Clinton Evans and Mon Gray. Their little flower girl was the groom's sister, LeAnn and Alan Gillman, a nephew of the bride, was ringbearer. The wedding party stood in front of an arch of orchid asters and yellow mums. Fern and roses were also used in the decorations. Throughout the evening organ music was furnished by Alene Fugal and Rena Keetch. The gift room was cared for by Etta Gillman, Madge Gillman, Louie Gillman 'and Eniga Nerdin. Mary Lou MaJtin took charge of the guest book. Assisting with 'the serving was Leona Adams, Charlotte Gardner, Gard-ner, Alain Fowlke, Naon Atwood, and Alona Hansen. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reed C. Gillman of Lindon and the groom the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Wilkinson Wilkin-son of Fairfield, Utah. The bride chose for her going away outfit a blue plaid empire suit accented with patent leather leath-er accessories. The new Mr. and Mrs. Wilkinson Wilkin-son will make their home at 200 South 1st East in Pleasant Grove. |
