Show Lions Club Enjoys Christmas Party At Alpine Grille The Pleasant Grove Lions Club held its Christmas party at the Grill Wednesday evening under the direction of the wives of the club officers. Mrs. Ike Taylor, chairman, chair-man, was assisted by Mrs. Harold Woolston, Mrs. Niels Fugal, Mrs. Clarence Rasmussen, Mrs. Leonard Leon-ard Shoell, Mrs. Alma Kirk, Mrs. Gerald Belliston, Mrs. William C. Smith, Mrs. Guy Sorenson, Mrs. A. B. Gibson and Mrs. S. C. Jackson. Jack-son. The tables were beautifully decorated dec-orated with the Christmas theme. The Lions name cards were attached attach-ed to characteristic presents and each lady received an artistic ceramic cer-amic piece. Liberace, (alias Robert Polosky, of American Fork) was there and renlered two piano selections in character, assisted by his brother George (alias Herbert), who handled hand-led the record player. Patricia Pack of Lindon gave, in pantomime, "I just Go Nuts at Christmas," and Kathy Belliston, with Sandra Anderson at the piano danced. Mayor Lewis Wells, who is moving mov-ing to Casper, Wyoming, expressed appreciation to the ciub. Visitors present were Robert Miller, assistant Forest Ranger, and Von Holdaway and Mrs. Hold-away Hold-away of the Lindon Lions Club, who is deputy district governor of Lions. |
